Why I started Riveting Resumes

Riveting Resumes was born out of both personal experience and genuine passion.

I know what it’s like to face the uncertainty of a layoff; I’ve been through a reduction in force (RIF) myself. That experience gave me a deep sense of empathy for others navigating career transitions. I remember the stress, the questions, and the overwhelming task of trying to represent myself on paper while figuring out what came next.

But through that challenge, I discovered a strength: I had a real talent for crafting compelling, strategic resumes—not just for myself, but for friends and colleagues too. I loved helping people tell their stories, showcase their strengths, and step into new opportunities with confidence.

That’s when I realized: this is more than a skill—it’s a calling.

Today, Riveting Resumes exists to empower job seekers with the tools, words, and confidence they need to land the roles they deserve. Whether you’re re-entering the workforce, changing careers, or just ready for something new—I’m here to help you get there, one powerful page at a time.

CREDENTIALS

The most rewarding part? Seeing you succeed.

For me, the most fulfilling part of resume writing is seeing the real-world impact it has. There’s nothing better than hearing from a client who landed their dream job or finally broke into a new field after struggling to get noticed.

Knowing that the resume I helped craft played a role in opening that door—that’s the true reward. It’s more than words on a page; it’s someone’s future, and I’m honored to be a part of that journey.
